Muth-labben. A Psalm of David.

1 I will give thanks to the Lord with all bmy heart;
I will ctell of all Your
Or miracles
wonders.
2I will be glad and eexult in You;
I will fsing praise to Your name, O gMost High.

3When my enemies turn back,
They stumble and hperish before You.
4For You have imaintained
Lit my right and my cause
my just cause;
You have sat on the throne
Or a righteous Judge
,
ljudging righteously.
5You have mrebuked the nations, You have destroyed the wicked;
You have nblotted out their name forever and ever.
6
Or O enemy, desolations are finished forever; And their cities You have plucked up
The enemy has come to an end in perpetual ruins,
And You have uprooted the cities;
The very pmemory of them has perished.

7But the qLord
Or sits as king
abides forever;
He has established His sthrone for judgment,
8And He will tjudge the world in righteousness;
He will execute judgment for the peoples with equity.
9
Or Let the Lord also be
The Lord also will be a vstronghold for the oppressed,
A stronghold in times of trouble;
10And
Or let those...name put
those who xknow Your name will put their trust in You,
For You, O Lord, have not yforsaken those who seek You.

11Sing praises to the Lord, who zdwells in Zion;
aaDeclare among the peoples His deeds.
12For abHe who
I.e. avenges bloodshed
requires blood remembers them;
He does not forget adthe cry of the afflicted.
13Be gracious to me, O Lord;
See my affliction from those aewho hate me,
You who aflift me up from the gates of death,
14That I may tell of agall Your praises,
That in the gates of the daughter of Zion
I may ahrejoice in Your
Or deliverance
salvation.
15The nations have sunk down ajin the pit which they have made;
In the aknet which they hid, their own foot has been caught.
16The Lord has almade Himself known;
He has amexecuted judgment.
In the work of his own hands the wicked is snared.

17The wicked will
Or turn
,
aqreturn to
I.e. the nether world

Even all the nations who asforget God.
18For the atneedy will not always be forgotten,
Nor the auhope of the afflicted perish forever.
19 avArise, O Lord, do not let man prevail;
Let the nations be awjudged before You.
20Put them axin fear, O Lord;
Let the nations know that they are aybut men. Selah.
